Homeostasis Lab
The Project
How can we prove the concept of Homeostasis using the human body?
For this project, we were given minimal instruction. The purpose was to observe the process of homeostasis in a given area. The one we tested was blood pressure. Therefore, we were to see how the body's blood pressure changed in response to an outside factor, than return to its original level. Having done so, we were then to create a research article and poster that were presented to the class. The results are below.

Reflection
Over the course of this project, there were several things that were done well, and somethings that could have been done better. As a group, the fact that we had all worked together before meant that we were familiar and more comfortable with one another, which allowed us to work with minimal disagreements. This lead to a better brainstorming process, resulting in more imaginative ways to achieve our goals. Also, this lead to more communication of ideas regarding individual working areas. This resulted in a higher quality end product. In all this project was fun and interesting. Working with members of our choice was easier that working with people that you don't know. The only issue is that the lack of instruction caused some confusion in the project. we were able to work past this, though.
